Community guidelines

CoachConnection is a space for qualified coaches to practice with peers. It works because everyone takes part in good faith. By using the platform you agree to follow these guidelines.

Be respectful

Treat every coach with courtesy and professionalism. Harassment, discrimination, and abusive or offensive behaviour have no place here and will lead to your account being removed.

Keep sessions confidential

Coaching relies on trust. Keep what is shared in a peer session private, and do not record a session or share its content without the other coach's clear agreement.

Coach in a spirit of reciprocity

Peer coaching is a two-way commitment. When you connect with a new peer, you each sign up to a minimum of three sessions, so you both get a fair share of practice. Be ready to coach them as well as be coached, and honour the times you agree between yourselves. If your plans change, let your partner know. Think about coaching topics that are important to you, and show up prepared to be coached.

No soliciting or spam

Do not use the platform or your private inbox to sell services, recruit, or send unsolicited promotions. Use it for arranging and reflecting on your practice.

Be honest about your credentials

Only claim qualifications and levels you actually hold, and upload genuine supporting documents. We verify members so coaches can find qualified members they may not have been able to connect with.

Reporting a concern

If someone behaves in a way that breaks these guidelines, or you have any other concern, contact us at contact@coachingstudies.org. We take reports seriously and may warn, suspend, or remove members who do not follow these guidelines.
