Request to join the platform by filling in the registration form and uploading your ICF or EMCC credential, or your ICF/EQA training certificate.

Once you're verified, create your profile and add information about yourself to appear in the directory.

What “verified” means
Everyone in the directory is a qualified coach whose credential and/or training was manually verified and approved. In order to join CoachConnection, we ask everyone to upload one of the following documents:
- Your ICF credential (ACC, PCC or MCC), or
- Your EMCC (EIA) award (Practitioner, Senior Practitioner or Master Practitioner), or
- Your ICF-accredited training certificate (Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3) or EMCC-accredited EQA training certificate, or
- A headed letter from an ICF-accredited or EMCC-accredited training provider confirming you are registered for a Level 1/Level 2/Level 3 or EQA training.
We are unable to verify coaches who are not credentialed with the ICF or the EMCC yet, or whose coaching qualification is not an ICF-accredited or EMCC-accredited training programme.
Who we are
CoachConnection is built by the Institute of Coaching Studies, an ICF-accredited training provider dedicated to training professional coaches to high standards of coaching practice. We are passionate about supporting coaches to grow their confidence and competence.
We created this platform to solve a problem coaches know well: connecting with other qualified coaches and finding enough quality practice hours.
Frequently asked questions
How does the reciprocity work?
Peer coaching implies that two coaches meet on a regular basis and take turns being coach and client. The sessions you facilitate as a coach can be counted in your ICF or EMCC log as coaching hours.
I am still in training. Can I sign up?
If you are currently enrolled in an ICF-accredited Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 programme, or an EMCC-accredited EQA course, you can upload a headed letter from your training provider confirming your enrolment.
I don't have an ICF or EMCC credential and I haven't done an accredited training. Can I sign up?
We do not have the capacity to review portfolio training and course curricula so we are unfortunately unable to verify coaches who are not credentialed yet or haven't completed a training programme accredited by the ICF or the EMCC.
How do I connect with a peer?
You browse the directory, click on a profile to read more about a coach, and send them a peer coaching request. If they accept, you can chat with them to set up the sessions.
Where do sessions happen?
You meet using your own preferred platform (Zoom, Google Meet, phone, etc.). CoachConnection helps you find each other and gives you a private inbox to agree the details; you run the sessions yourselves.
Does CoachConnection track my sessions?
No. You arrange and run your sessions yourselves and keep your own record. We simply help qualified coaches find and connect with each other.
Can I connect with more than one coach?
Yes. Connect with as many peers as you like, and reconnect with a past partner whenever you want.
Is it free?
